What You’ll Be Doing:

As a structural engineer with us, you’ll take an active role in shaping the built environment. From initial concept to construction support, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting structural analysis and designing safe, code-compliant systems
  • Preparing technical documentation, design reports, and construction drawings
  • Performing field reviews, site assessments, and inspections as needed
  • Designing with various materials such as wood, steel, concrete, aluminum, and cold-formed steel
  • Utilizing software like Revit to draft details, sections, and technical specifications
  • Reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with project stakeholders, and supporting construction efforts
  • Contributing to internal design reviews and project coordination meetings
  • Managing tasks independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 2–5 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in building systems design
  • Working knowledge of relevant building codes and structural standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EIT certification or on track to obtain it
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
  • Proficiency with design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Tedds, Tekla, and Mathcad
  • Familiarity with ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and National/Local Building Codes
